How to stop judging yourselves through the lenses of others

Believe it or not but we all live in a world that is filled with judgments and comparisons, it’s easy to fall into the trap of constantly judging ourselves. We cannot even predict how and when it starts taking troll on us and before we become aware of it. We are already slave of it. Later, all we are left with and what we constantly do is that we look through the lenses of others, measuring our worth against societal standards and the opinions of those around us. But what if I told you that using these lenses to judge ourselves is not only wrong, but also a crime we commit against our own well-being? Would you believe me on that?

Certainly not. Until you picture this by yourself. Imagine: You’re wearing a pair of glasses that distort your vision, making everything seem bleak, blur and unworthy. Can you really use that glass to see through? I don’t think you would, and nobody would.
