Saying No To My Griefs

Sometimes it’s better to sit down with your grief;
And indulge at least for a brief,
Just to understand your soul
And what exactly it craves for.

Is it love or greed?
What is your true need?

As when you say it’s love,
Just be there when it’s your turn.

Don’t take things or beings for granted.
Thinking they will stay, even if they aren’t wanted.

It would be too late to realize,
That nothing lasts forever.

As forever feels like a distant dream,
That can’t ever be fulfilled.

Until we take efforts to reach each other,
Holding back like nothing else matters.

Let’s celebrate life with each other
Rather than sitting with grief’s and regrets sooner or later.

As we aren’t sure, how long do we belong here?
Let’s not crave more for our longings then.

Just make it a point to create a time for them.

Let there be only happiness when we shall leave
Instead of burdened grief’s that follows us till our graves.
